P012 → SpringFest
SpringFest is an annual music festival put on by the University of Michigan student organization, MUSIC Matters. For SF'23, the celebrity headliner was Role Model who performed at the Michigan Theater with ELEY as his opening act. Two days later we hosted SpringSTREETfest in collaboration with the student-run record label, Empty Mug Records, where student musicians played outside Ann Arbor Art Center. Our 10th annual SpringFest Day Festival featured 15 student performances, 4 food trucks, and 55 festival activations including sponsorships, student orgs, and an interactive art mural. For SpringFest 2023, I was lead for creating the event identity.
This included font/color selection, creating graphics for social media and physical flyering, creating merch to be sold at events and coordinating with various artists and their teams as well as student teams through MUSIC Matters to get everything approved and dispersed throughout the Ann Arbor community. A surreal experience to see my graphics all over the city and for my merch to have sold out.
This was a team effort, I would like to thank all of MUSIC Matters and specifically Julia Plawker and Anna Lehrer for helping me accomplish this.
